My Journey was a little unorthodox but here I am today

2008 - 2011

Singapore Sports School

Joined the Golf Team in Singapore Sports School for my secondary school education. Ended up taking the O' Levels route instead. It was a very tough 4 years and I wanted to put my golf clus away.

2016

Back From Retirement

Like any guy finishing NS, I had to consider what's next for me - University or not? Decided to dust off my golf clubs and get back into Golf, after reading my late mom's letter.

2017-2022

National University Of Singapore

Things didn't go as planned in my golfing side of life and my brother was barking at me to go to university. Enrolled myself in NUS and managed to be a part of TeamNUS Golf. Graduated in 2022 with a Bachelor of Science (Distinction) in Project and Facilities Management

2004-2007

Naval Base Primary School

That's where it all started. A primary School CCA in a "neighbourhood" school

2012-2015

Retirement

Decided it was best for me to stop playing golf. Picked up field hockey in Innova JC and went to NS in 2014. Did not touch golf clubs for the next 4 years.

2016- mid 2017

Gap Year

Made a decision to give myself a year to train and compete. Competed locally, in Malaysia state amateur events and an event in Hong Kong that got cut short due to typhoon

2023 - Present

Golf Professional

Wanted to be a touring professional but I couldn't afford it with student loans to pay off. Decide the best way was to be a golf instructor and earn my way from there. Passed my Pro test and had the opportunity to kickstart my golf instructor life at The Golf Lab @ MST Golf
